Reed Meets Schools Minister over BSF

Andy Reed MP today met Schools Minister Vernon Coaker MP and representatives of Partnership for Schools to be told why Leicestershire County Council failed to get their BSF bid off the ground. "There has been a mighty effort by the spin machine at County Hall to deflect any criticism of their handling of this BSF bid so I was determined to get behind the headlines. For that reason the meeting was really useful. The County Council have had detailed feedback which I will ask them to share publicly" "Basically the bid was not considered 'Ready to Deliver' and certainly not as ready as many other bids ahead of them on the list.
